Help Others Help Others

The Emergency First Response program equips divers with the skills needed to handle a wide range of emergency situations. Building on the foundations learned in the Emergency First Response and Rescue Diver courses, participants develop the ability to recognize issues, respond effectively, and help prevent minor situations from becoming more serious.

By becoming an Emergency First Response Instructor, you gain the qualification to teach these essential first aid and CPR skills to others. This instructor-level training prepares you to deliver course content confidently, guide students through practical exercises, and promote a safer and more prepared diving community.

How Your Emergency First Response Instructor Course Works

The Emergency First Response Instructor course has many parts that encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use. During your course you will build on your skills as an Emergency Responder and focus on developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others.

As an EFR Instructor you can be part of the critical training and change the lives of the people you train as well as the people they may come in contact with in an emergency.

The EFR training course is needed much more than the training we usually see at Lone Star Scuba for Rescue Divers. Companies, businesses, municipalities and schools need this training. As an Emergency First Response Instructor you will have the ability to teach these essential skills to anyone. Yes, you can even teach it to divers!
