The Tec 40 course is intended for those divers who wish to begin developing the skills and knowledge involved in technical deep diving. This course includes making gas switches, extended no-stop dives, and basic decompression diving (no more than 10 total deco) above 40 meters/130 feet.
You will learn to use enriched air with up to 50 percent oxygen. You will also make dive plans using desktop software as well as manual dive plans. Additionally you will learn all the motor skills required for technical diving. This provides you the foundation necessary for safe technical diving as well as moving on to the PADI Tec 45 course.
