Master Scuba Diver – The Best of the Best
Master Scuba Diver is the highest rating in recreational scuba. Fewer than two percent of divers ever achieve this rating. This program is loaded with tons of diving knowledge and experience that you will gain with the guidance of a PADI professional. In the end, making you one of the most prestigious divers out there. Which is why, earning this certification should be at the top of your scuba checklist.
How to achieve the Master Scuba Diver rating
In order to earn your Master Scuba Diver rating you will need to complete a lot of training and log some water time. At this point we assume you are already Open Water certified. From your basic training you will continue to Advanced Open Water. Here, you will complete five training dives exploring deep diving, navigation and a slew of other diving techniques. Once you have completed your AOW course you can proceed to Rescue Diver. In this course you will learn how to properly manage and prevent many problems that may arise while diving. In order to participate in the Rescue Diver program you will need to be CPR / First Aid certified. You can achieve this at any time with the Emergency First Response course. This will complete all of your recreational diving core curriculum.
But wait, there’s more…
PADI Diver Specialties
During your core curriculum training you will begin working on your diving specialties. The PADI Specialties are designed to teach you very specific types of diving and techniques. Such as, wreck diving, search and recovery, night diving, mixed gas diving and more. These courses are of your choosing and should be based on your interests and the types of diving you plan on doing. To complete your Master Scuba Diver program you’ll need to take at least five of these diving specialties.
