Wouldn’t It Be Great To Show People What You Saw?
Diving is fun. You travel the world to explore underwater environments and take in the wonders the ocean has to offer. Once you're dryside, you want to tell everyone what you saw. Sometimes, it is difficult to make others fully comprehend the amazing experience you had. This is where a photo could greatly help in sharing your adventures with those who aren’t your dive buddy. The Digital Underwater Photography course from PADI is your ticket to capturing the beauty of our submerged world.
Your PADI Underwater Digital Photography Course
During your photography course you will perform two dives under the guidance of a PADI underwater photography professional. But, before you get in the water and start snapping away we'll need to explore what makes underwater photography an earned skill. We begin by helping you choose the right camera system for your underwater photo needs. Next, we explore the PADI SEA (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) method for obtaining great shots quickly. Finally, you'll learn about the principles of underwater photography composition and the practical techniques needed to produce great photos. After the course you will be on your way to taking amazing underwater photos like those from David Doubilet!
What Do You Do After The Photo Is Taken?
The PADI Digital Underwater Photography class is your start to producing amazing underwater photos. However, the best end result doesn’t necessarily come with the push of the button. Learning how to work with your images after they are taken can greatly increase the quality of your images. The Digital Underwater Imaging course is designed to show you how to adjust your still photos and videos to make you proud to share.
Where can you to take your Digital Underwater Photography course?
You can take your course anywhere with water in which you can dive. However, taking images in a Texas lake isn't near as fulfilling as capturing the spectacle of a free-swimming moray eel in Bonaire! We make the Digital Underwater Photography course available on a lot of our trips. So, if your itching for a fuller log book, and awesome photos to share, check out what we have coming up!
