Frustrated with your underwater camera shots?
Wondering why some people obtain fabulous photographs and beautiful videos from their cameras but you’re not quite there? You could be shooting with the exact same camera and lighting system but the results are quite different. Being in the right spot at the right time is a good start to great underwater photography and videography. However, knowing how your camera works and working with the photos after the shot is important too. Even if you got that great angle with the sea turtle in Cozumel your image is more blue than turtle. The Digital Underwater Imaging course shows you how to take those shots and turn them into something spectacular. I mean, why spend all that time taking photos on your dive if you have nothing worth sharing after?
Digital Underwater Imaging (DUI) is your step to better diving memories
Your DUI course is a step-by-step, “how to” class with extensive, specially-designed class materials developed and taught by Kelly Jones. Kelly is a PADI Divemaster with years of travel experience who found the need to develop a course beyond what the PADI Underwater Photography course offers. Kelly’s work can be found on Facebook at Kelly Jones Underwater Photography and on YouTube at KellyDivePhotography.
How your Digital Underwater Imaging course works
Kelly separates the class into two evenings. Your first evening class covers camera settings, auxiliary equipment and still photo editing. Here, you will utilize Adobe Lightroom to take all those blue, or green, images you have and turn them into colorful, eye-catching photos. You'll learn how to turn the photo back into the visual memory you have of your experience. In the end, having something more representative of what you saw to share your adventures with others.
The second evening is all about video editing. Using Movavi Video Editor, you'll learn how to turn that shaky whale shark video you took into something watchable. Also, you will gain experience in adding music and text overlays to your videos along with how to remove unwanted footage. Finally, Kelly will teach you how to cut and piece your videos together to make a seamless screen-time experience for your viewers.
When you take your course you will receive a specially-prepared 57-page reference manual. Your new manual has extensive screenshots and “how to” instructions, which you will return to time and time again.
